由纽约的汉协会和北京过云楼书院共同主办的“西游西行”汉艺之旅将于2018十月6号-15号在曼哈顿的American Asian Arts Gallery和汉文化山庄举办。
这次西行之旅将展示由付爱民教授补绘的大型系列连环画《西游记之寻访取经人》，《西游记》连环画一共三十五集，从上世纪五十年代由中国最优秀的画家组成团队进行创作，至本世纪初期，一共创作了三十集，最后五集交由付爱民教师创作完成，此次展出作品就是付爱民创作其中的一集《寻访取经人》。
付爱民，中央民族大学美术学院中国画系副教授、美术理论文创方向硕士研究生导师组组长、《中国民族美术》期刊副主编、民族美术研究中心副主任。
此次活动的另一场展览，将展出中国著名斫琴师、古琴演奏家、北京古琴文化研究会副会长郭怀瑾先生亲手製作的古琴, 郭先生在开幕式上将会有高水准的古琴演奏及由郭老师亲制的古琴展销。

The Art of Han “A trip to the West”, is jointly organized by Chinese Culture Association and the Beijing Guoyunlou Academy, will be held on October 6-15, 2018 in Manhattan and Chinese Culture Estate. This ” A trip to the West” will show a large series of comic book series <Journey to the West: <<The Journey to the West>> by Prof Aimin Fu. “The Journey to the West,” a total of thirty-five comic books, was created by a team of China best painters from the 1950s until the early 2000s. Thirty episodes were written, and the last five episodes were completed by Prof. Aimin Fu. This exhibition is one of the episodes of Aimin Fu works, 《seeking the Sutra Man》. Aimin Fu, Associate Professor, Department of Chinese Painting, Central University of Nationalities, Head of Postgraduate Tutor Group, Vice Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Chinese National Fine Arts and Deputy Director of Center for Ethnic Art Research, China Academy of Fine Arts.
Another exhibition of the event will feature the Guqin, a renowned Chinese pianist and Beijing Guqin Cultural Research Society Vice President Guo Huaijins hand-made guqin.
