CCA is a government approved non-profit organization. It holds events mainly in Manhattan and Catskill. CCA aims to revive the Han culture as its main goal. It resists any cult and cult marks that promotes the political claims of the attached culture and focusses on the revival and promotion of the Han culture.
CCA is dedicated to sharing the heritage of Han Chinese Culture, with a particular focus on educating the global community about Han Cultures, including but not limited Hanfu, food, architectures/garden, arts, music/musical instruments, medicines/herbs, games and pastimes,etc.
The Association endeavors to promote genuine Sinic tradition and modern Chinese in the United States through social events, seminars, exhibitions and live performances for its members and the interested public.
Officially formed in August 4, 2015, the CCA is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization whose wider mission involves building permanent international cultural relationships between the United States and China and creating new opportunities for the exploration of Han Culture. Funded entirely through membership fees and donations, the CCA endeavors to create a space for conversation, research and appreciation of Han Chinese Culture and all its facets. Immediate goals for the CCA include leading online classes, hosting monthly seminars at Manhattan Office, holding forums at Catskill, NY center (plan), and hosting/sponsoring shows and festivals that will help to promote the CCA’s interests worldwide.
